New Life

Once again I look back on the craziness of my life in the past year and I am amazed at the stress and the accomplishments that have burst forth in me. It has been scary most of the time. From losing my job as a CNA so that I could relocate to planning a last-minute wedding I didn't know was going to happen. Supporting my boyfriend and now fiance by purchasing a house in a completely new town. A sweet little town called Coudersport, PA. New places with unfamiliar faces. It almost feels like the first day of school only it's every day instead of just once. My writing has taken a whole new turn. For the first time I can really focus on it becasue I have new opportunities that I didn't have before. I am excited for what lies ahead.

2020 in a Nutshell

I have not kept up with this as much as I wanted to this year. But in 2020 I discovered a degree of writing that has evolved in me. I wrote a lot of poetry. I also started a piece of literacy non-fiction about my time in quarantine and my experiences with the COVID-19 virus firsthand working in a nursing home. And the after-effects of it infecting my facility.
